Jose Ajpu Munoz is a highly respected Time Keeper, spiritual guide, and ceremonial leader of the Mayan Chor’Ti people. Jose’s extensive training as an Ajq’ij involves 13 years of study and practice under the guidance of elder spiritual leaders from age 0 to 13 at the Mayan Astronomical Centers in Kiche, Iximche, and Uxaktun, Guatemala. His expertise spans Mayan cosmology, astrology, astronomy, anthology, ceremonies, arts and healing modalities. His international recognition as a teacher and healer has made significant contributions to both Mayan and inter-tribal communities, helping many integrate ancient wisdom into contemporary life.
