Jose Ajpu Muñoz is a 23rd-generation Time Keeper, spiritual guide, and ceremonial leader of the Maya Chor’Ti people. He is a guardian of the spoken word of Mayan history from 1444 to 1529 and carries the Sixth Sun Calendar, marking the start of a new 26,000-year cycle on December 22, 2012. At the cycle’s end, Jose organized the Peace and Dignity Journeys Guatemala Chapter, a relay uniting ancestral messengers across the Americas. Beginning in Alaska and Argentina and culminating in Uaxactún, Guatemala, the journey fulfilled the Eagle, Quetzal, and Condor prophecies of unity, delivering the message that the world was not going to end in 2012, but actually humanity was entering a new era of harmony.

In 2015, Jose co-created the historic WARP World Peace Summit in Seoul, South Korea, uniting over 500,000 people, including 40,000 religious and community leaders, heads of state, and citizens from around the globe. This monumental event, organized under the World Alliance of Religions for Peace, is a testament to Jose’s lifelong commitment to unity and peace, with its impact rippling far beyond space and time.

Jose has dedicated his life to delivering messages, Mayan teachings, and prophecy. His expertise in Mayan cosmology, anthology, and other ancient sciences has made him an internationally recognized teacher and public speaker. His contributions have helped diverse communities integrate ancient wisdom into contemporary life, ensuring the preservation and sharing of Mayan cultural and spiritual heritage.

Currently, Jose speaks to audiences worldwide, raising awareness of the transformational events leading humanity on the path to 2036 and beyond. His mission includes creating Mayan Calendar Manifestation Stations, or “Etheric Portals”- sacred spaces that manifest dreams, hopes, and intentions into reality. These portals act as bridges between the spiritual, dream, and material worlds, helping individuals and communities consciously weave visions in the new paradigm.

Based at Hummingbird Sky Island in Columbia, CA, a demonstration site for ancient future village development and a Mayan Ceremonial Center, Jose remains dedicated to preserving Mayan history and culture, fostering unity, and reminding us that “We are all Indigenous to this planet.”
